I love this bike. It handles perfectly if not a bit aggressive. The power stomps most everything short of new sport bikes. Good insurance rates thanks to the fact there are so few of these out there. The ONLY thing I would sell this for is a baby version of the speed trip in the form of a naked Daytona 675. The spectacular failure of Triumph to promote this bike makes that unlikely.
The other nail in the coffin of this naked class bike is the fact that it out performed every other bike in its class. It's faster, stops quicker, handles better, and was cheaper than every thing else. The bike zines seem to think that naked class bikes should be warm and cuddly and the rather unfriendly to beginners performance left this bike out of ALL reviews of like bikes. One mag stated it was obvious half way through our first test there was a wolf in sheeps clothing in the bunch... as the Speed4 left the FZ6, SV650, 620 Monster, and the Honda 599 fighting for second.
