"Not knowing what type of motorcycle to purchase only knowing that I wanted one, I asked David Sanders to recommend one based upon my anticipated use and budget. After several conversations ( thank you David for your patience) I elected to purchase the Triumph Rocket III Touring. Because I live out of state, I was concerned with the transport of the motorcycle to my home. David, put me at ease and recommended a transport company. Not only was the purchasing painless, but the motorcycle arrived in mint condition without so much as a scratch! I love the bike and could not have asked for a better fit. It is perfect and I am thoroughly enjoying riding again!!! I have already mentioned to many friends that if they desire to purchase a motorcycle to definitely work with Bogarts as you are the best of the best!!! Thanks!"

"Patrick was the BEST salesman -- I never felt like he was trying to 'sell' me anything, if you know what I mean! He is a polite, knowledgeable and plain old nice guy. I flew into town from texas, and the whole transaction was fast friendly and fun. April was particularly helpful and ULTRA efficient in all the paperwork. She's a total sweetheart too! Then, I needed help getting my gps mount and power fitted to the new bike. Kenny in service was TOTALLY helpful. For no charge, he did better and faster work then most places charging me by the hour. I was just floored by ALL the departments I dealt with.
Also -- your showroom is very very impressive. Makes me wish I leaved closer to y'all. But I will be back whenever I am shopping Triumph or BMW. Thanks again to all of your staff.

"On 5 Aug 08 I had the pleasure of visiting your dealership while on a 5 state trip on my 07' BMW R1200RT. Unfortunately the night before I had noticed my rear tire was worn to the point of showing steel. I stopped in around noon on the 5th, (unannounced) and inquired about a new tire so I could make it safely back home to Florida.
Kenny in service immediately greeted me, looked at my tire and checked me in for service and had me back on the road in one hour. Wow!
Thanks Kenny, and to the service techs for such great service.
Sincerely,
Rick Young"

"While I may be premature with my comments, my experience with Patrick at Bogarts has been very rewarding at this point. Tomorrow morning I am leaving for Bogart's to pick up my 08 RT. I committed to a purchase today, and for once in a very long time I have absolutely no animosity as to whether I have done the right thing. Hopefully I can get a good night's sleep. I will follow-up with my comments following the pickup and the miles and service to come. Jim"

"Hazzle free experience. Great folks to do business with, especially Eileen who sold me my 07 America, Patrick, who ordered my accessories, Bryson who got the dreaded paperwork quickly out of the way, and all the other friendly staff. Comming from a small town (Demopolis) this type of friendly service made me feel at home. THANKS BOGARTS for the great experience."

"Hi Guys,
Derek I would just like to convey how much we enjoyed our visit to your shop on our way to the Barber Museum and Classic Weekend in October.
Many thanks for the tips regarding which backroads to use and where to find hotel accomodation. This really helped us enjoy our visit and and we are both grateful for your kind assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend and met up and had a chat with John Surtees in the Museum on the the Thursday prior to the racing. What a brilliant spread this guy has such prospects for motor racing in years to come.
Many thanks from the UK.
Jane & Derek Allen.

"I was on the road from Mississippi to North Georgia Oct. 20th. Somewhere between Starkville and Tuscaloosa my warning light came on..stayed on for a while and went off.
Not knowing what it could possibly be I stopped in your shop around 9. I was directed to I believe your service manager and explained to him my problem. After giving me several possibilities as to what could be wrong he must have noticed the look on my face. He asked me if I was on the road and when he found out that I was he said he'd have me in the shop in few minutes. And he did. It turned out to be an intermittent bulb. I was in and out in less than an hour and was only charged $23!!!!
Earlier this year I was preparing for a trip and order a few things from your shop. My salesman was Darwin. One of the items I ordered was the Santiago jacket. You didn't have the color I wanted so Darwin ordered if for me. I had told him when I was leaving on the trip and he had it to me on time!!! And even followed up by calling me at home to make sure I got it and was satisfied.
In today's world this stuff doesn't happen to often.
You have a great team there at Bogarts...
To bad you're not closer to Mississippi.
Thanks"

"Mr. Lacy,
I took the 2002 R1150RTP that I bought from you to Touring Sport BMW in Greenville, SC. I got an oil change and had the service department give the bike a good lookover.
The service manager was impressed with the motorcycle's condition and even more impressed with the deal that I got at Bogart's. I even had one of the patrons offer to buy the motorcycle for more than I paid. Of course I declined the offer but I did give the guy a Bogart's business card and let him know that there may still be one like it at your shop. He swears that he intends to come get it.
Anyway. With my limited experience with BMW dealerships and such I have to say that Bogart's is the place to shop. Look for me to continue shopping there.
Oh yeah...I'm having a ball with the motorcycle, even in the rain.
Thanks
Larry Garmany

"I can not say enough about how good everyone is. Even after I sold my 04 RT-P the service guys go out of their way to help with supplying the new owner (private sale) with all the records and history. I know I will be just as pleased with all the staff with my GT I am about to order. Great Dealer and Great location."

"I throughly enjoyed my scooter purchase experience! The purchase took place as direct result of the dealers willingness to work with me as an individual. I had planned on picking up a VESPA LX50 which I had won through a American Express Card promotion and taking it home, but because Bogart's worked with me on my trade-in, I upgraded to the Piaggio BV200, which was much more to my liking and one I could ride to work and for play! Thanks to Eileen & all the staff at Bogart's!!!"

"Hello Eileen,
I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your wonderful help with this
vespa newbie. Not only did your kind words and "guiding me home" greatly
increase my admiration for you, but you and your company's efforts above and
beyond the call of duty have placed Bogarts firmly as a #1 organization for
customer service. Your help today has made me a customer for life, and I
cannot believe how quiclkly I got my "scooter-legs" back.
I might even show up tomorrow at La Reunion and show off my "Day 1"
scratches and again express my deepest thanks.
Please pass on a heartfelt thank you to the techs. You guys rock!!!

"My recent purchase of new-to-me RT/SE was seamless from the start. Neal & Steve did everything they could to expedite the prep work of the bike, and the paperwork complete when I came from Mobile area to pick up bike.
One of the most complete Beemer showrooms I've ever seen; and true professionals all. Though 4 hours away; I will have no hesitation in returning for routine service & accessories!!!!"

"I can't begin to express my gratitude to the folks at Bogart's for the service they gave me while I was on the road. I was on my way from Houston to Huntsville, AL when my R1200C died on I-20 in Meridian, MS. I was able to restart the bike, but since there are no BMW dealers in MS, I pressed on until I got to Birmingham. Bogart's took me in immediately, diagnosed the problem (correctly) as a fouled fuel filter, and sent me on my way in less than two hours. While I was there they offered me soft drinks and generally saw to it that I was cool and comfortable. And I enjoyed every minute of it looking at their showroom and visiting with all of the nice folks there. I wish they were closer to Houston, but since they aren't all I can do is recommend to anyone in the area to please send your business their way."

"Ditto to what Jeff said. Bogarts put on a fine trackday. Their price included a good catered lunch on the 2nd floor of the paddock building and plenty of cold drinks throughout the day. They had plenty of techs to expedite the registration and early morning activity. The rain Saturday morning kept many participants off the track. We broke for an early lunch and the afternoon kept the rain away mostly but the track was still damp. A dry line or two began to form and by mid-afternoon you could have some fun. I enjoyed leading/following some of the less experienced riders in the A and B groups.
Bryson invited me back for Sunday. I had shagged my tires on Saturday and thanks to Stan Zangel and his friend Joe Laminak (sp) I mounted race DOT take-offs Sat. evening and had the 996 off and running on Sunday. I got my courage up to ride it harder than at the last FBR trackday but still not as fast as my Hawk. It was dryer and cooler and I think there were at least 12 crashers on Sunday. None were serious personal injuries but a couple of bikes were heavily damaged. Way too many crashers in my opinion. And we even had 4 control riders out there. It's ironic that you could look at some of the riders during the first morning session and you could almost predict who was gonna crash or have problems later on. I've heard a statement awhile back, something like, "I kept getting faster and faster until I ran out of talent and crashed". I think that's what happened in many of the cases.
I think the control riders helped many riders and I would like to see the FBR trackdays offer them as well.
Thanks to Chris Haugen for the use of the VFR500F for a couple of late sessions Sunday. Very enjoyable.
Bryson, thanks for letting me be a small part of your event.
Regards,
Henry

"Met a nice couple, David and Debbie, at Bogart's yesterday pm. She rides a pristine F650 ('99 model) due to her short stature, and David rides an 1150GS. They were testing the R1200RT, and he was impressed with the handling, said it felt like a 600 while underway. He also noted that he couldn't find the rear shock preload, and it was set way too light for 2-up riding. Meanwhile, however, Debbie was complaining about the seat feeling "really hot" and therefore, uncomfortable, upon their return. The 3 of us looked over the bike, and found the heated seat control on the right handgrip, and we all confirmed it was OFF.
So, Neal Lacy came out to ask how the ride went, and David asked him where to find the preload adjuster. Neal lifted the passenger seat (the rider's seat was separate, with its own release), and pointed out the preload adjuster beneath the "rear" seat. While the seat was thus removed, we noted the heating wire, and followed it down to the right-hand side. VOILA!! A separate heating controller was discovered, located where the passenger can turn HER bun-warmer on or off, independent of the rider's preference. You can't see it, but you can feel the rocker switch underneath the right side with your hand, when the passenger seat is properly attached to the bike. If you didn't know it was there, you'd never find it.
I was impressed, and must say, that with the liberties I take in openly bashing most dealerships, that Neal Lacy demonstrated an unusual understanding and knowledge of the new 1200RT, and ably answered all of David's questions. I don't see that at most motorcycle sales centers.
Further, I have to commend Terry Ware (Bogart's Service Manager) for going above and beyond the call. I had to purchase a new mirror clamp to re-attach my left-hand mirror after several dumps at Kentuck ORV Saturday. (The part was actually IN STOCK! Have to admit, I was surprised and pleased.) However, I couldn't remove the old broken piece of clamp off my mirror stalk at home, because I don't have a vice. I struggled with it, and brought it with me yesterday to pick up the new clamp. Near the end of the day, it was obvious the staff was busy pulling all the bikes in, and Terry was looking harried as well.
Had to ask him the favor of using the shop to take off the old broken clamp, so I could use the new one on my mirror. He took it from me, disappeared into the service area, and came back in less than 10 minutes with my mirror stalk. He told me, "The old part is lost.", which was fine with me, as it was of no use. The mirror stalk was warm, as if he had had to use a torch or heat to remove the busted piece, but the result was I could mount the mirror again. I didn't ask him any other questions, as he still had work to do before he could leave, but I thanked him with much appreciation.
Bing, bing, bing. Three kudo's to the staff at Bogart's, all in the same afternoon."

"I recently had my first service done with Bogart's BMW. I did not purchase the R1150RT from Bogart's, purchased used. The Service I got was top rate. I made the appointment, arrived at 9AM and was out the door by 1:30PM. Having to come from out of town, they made the distance issue a whole lot better. Thanks Bogart's

"I purchased a Vanson Leathers Bones jacket through Bogarts. Not only was the price discounted significantly from what my BMW dealer offered here in Texas; I received the jacket very quickly. I was told Vanson Leathers has a reputation for slow delivery. The jacket is imaculate and well worth the advanced billing for quality and appearance. I will most likely continue shopping online at Bogarts and hope to make a road trip to Birmingham just to see the shop. Thanks PaulDH"

Neal Lacy, Bryson Stephens you guys are great, people like you are what makes this sport fun. It's nice to know there is a dealership that really appreciates their customers.
